The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America is celebrating its 18th Anniversary with a weeklong ride across the nation’s scenic southwest, and it is stopping in Green River. Founded by former NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kyle Petty, the Charity Ride raises funds and awareness for VictoryJunction, a camp created to benefit children with chronic or life threatening illnesses. More than 175 riders will travel over 2,500 miles from April 28 to May 4.
The motorcycle riders will be stopping in Green River on Tuesday, May 1st at the BP/Chevron (1775 West Main) at approximately 12:30pm*. NASCAR legend Kyle Petty and other celebrity riders (including NFL great Herschel Wal
ker) will be available for interviews and photos.
We would love it if you could feature this event on your community calendar — the ride is for a great cause so we’re looking to get as many people out to see it as possible. Feel free to email back with any additional questions.
Thanks so much for your time and have a great day!
